Board and Care Rates

• Board in Main Barn – includes, feed 3 x a day, cleaning 2 x a day, blanketing service, turnout service, graining service, and a scoop of any Triple Crown Grain, as well as, any additional grain or supplement that owner may want to provide. More than 1 supplement or feed will require being put into pre mixed bags weekly by Sunday. $700 a month

• Board in Small Barn – includes feed 2 x a day, cleaning 2 x a day - $500 a month. Services offered at an additional rate.

Services:

• Blanketing - $50 a month

• Graining service - $50 a month – owner will provide all grain and supplements. More than one supplement will be pre mixed by owner and put into bags weekly.

• Turn out service -$ 50 a month –

• Hand Walking - $15 a day

• Lunging - $15 a day

• Body Clip - $150

• Face clip, muzzle, ears, and bridle path - $15

• Mane pull - $20

• Full Grooming Service – includes daily grooming, as well as, a minimum of 1 bath a week. $200 a month

• Vacation Package – Grooming every day, hand walking and grazing, managing care of horse while gone. - $56 a week

All horses are expected to be maintained at an acceptable level and to be presentable.

Horse Show Rate

Show Rates for riders and horses in a training or lesson package:


• Training Rate – includes any show rides, training rides, and coaching at show. - $60 a day

• Hauling – will be organized and billed.

• Medication – billed as used at show unless supplies are provided by owner.

• Trainer splits – includes housing and expenses at show, as well as set up expenses. To be split among horses.

• Tack stall and feed split – will be on the horse show entry invoice and will be split among horses at the show.

• Supplies - $35 a show

• Grooming – will be organized by Blanchette Equestrian, but is paid directly to groom at negotiated rate. To be paid in full by Sunday of the show.

• Braiding – $50 for a mane, $25 for tails. Travel charges may apply. Will be paid directly to braider, and payment is expected by Saturday night of the show.

• Riders who compete on a Blanchette Equestrian Horse - $60 a day use fee.

• 20 % of all prize money won while either Robert or Tammy are showing client owned horses.

Riders who are not in a training or lesson package will pay all of the above expenses that apply, however the Training Rate at the show will be $75 a day.

Training and Lesson Rates

• Full Training- includes a combination of either 6 lessons or training rides a week, as well as, all care and grooming associated with horse with the exception of: body clipping and tacking up for lessons. $700 a month

• Partial Training- includes 3 services a week, either training rides or lessons. $450 a month

• Lesson packages:

• Lessons on one of Blanchette Equestrian’s Horses for riders that are intermediate or advanced, a package of 10 lessons - $800 – must have a minimum of 1 lesson a week and all lessons must be used within 2 months. No refunds for unused lessons.

• Lessons on your own horse for horses stabled at Loma Alta Farms, a package of 10 lessons • $600 – must have a minimum of 1 lesson a week and all lessons must be used within 2 months. No refunds for unused lessons.

• Lessons on your own horse for riders that do not board at Loma Alta, a package of 10 lessons - $600 – lessons must be used within 6 months of the first lesson. No refunds for unused lessons. For riders who haul in for lessons there is a $25 haul in fee per lesson that is due when the lesson package is purchased. (Riders who want to stay overnight can pay for a daily stall for $35 a night)

• Single lessons or rides:

• Single Training ride or Lesson on your own horse - $80

• Single Lesson on a Blanchette Equestrian Horse - $100

• Exercise ride (for horses who are not needing training) - $25

• Lunge - $15

• Tacking up (not encouraged, but if you are running late and need help) - $7

• Commissions:

• We charge a flat %10 if we are acting as your agent in either the purchase of a horse or the sale of your horse. If we are representing both the buyer and the seller we charge 15% 7.5% to the seller and 7.5% to the buyer. We have a minimum commission charge of $1,500.

• Commissions on full leases either $1000 or 10% whichever is greater.
